Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray to ensure easy release after baking.
  • Open the can of apple pie filling and spread it evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish, creating a uniform layer.

Assembling

  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the apple filling. Ensure it covers the entire surface to prevent any gaps in the topping.
  • Melt the butter and pour it evenly over the top of the cake mix. The butter will seep through and create a golden, buttery crust.

Baking
