Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch skillet with butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, mix the sugar and melted butter until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared skillet and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly gooey.

Storage

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Reheat slices in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.
