Cream Layer

  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to whip until soft peaks form.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, arrange a single layer of graham crackers on the bottom.

  • Spread half of the cherry pie filling over the whipped cream layer.
  • Add another layer of graham crackers, followed by another third of the whipped cream and the remaining pie filling.
  • Top with a final layer of graham crackers and the remaining whipped cream. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  • Remove from the refrigerator and slice into squares using a sharp knife.
