{{WPRM_GROUP_PREPARATION}}

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir in the crushed Oreos.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and crushed Oreos until well combined.
  • Place one cooled cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous amount of frosting over the top. Place the second cake layer on top and spread frosting over the top and sides of the cake.
  • Use a spatula to create swirls or patterns in the frosting. Add crushed Oreos around the base and top of the cake for decoration. Optionally, add additional decorations such as sprinkles or cake toppers.

{{WPRM_GROUP_SERVING}}

  • Serve the cake at room temperature, cut into even slices. Pair with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.

{{WPRM_GROUP_STORAGE}}

  • Store the cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Allow the cake to come to room temperature before serving for the best texture and flavor.
