Equipment

  • 1 9x13-inch baking dish greased
  • 1 electric mixer
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 packages crescent roll dough

Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Topping

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Make sure to seal any perforations in the dough.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  • Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the prepared crust. Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it over the filling, gently pressing to cover completely.
  • In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top layer of crescent dough.
  • Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely in the dish before slicing into squares. This cooling time will help the bars set and make them easier to cut.
  • Once cooled, cut the bars into 16 squares and serve. Enjoy them as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Store any leftover bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
