Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Chill for 30 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix well. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks, then gently fold into the peanut butter mixture.
  • Spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the chilled crust. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the filling. Combine cocoa powder and granulated sugar, then sprinkle on top.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow it to set properly before serving.
