Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper
  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Brownie Batter

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly with butter.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until well combined. Allow to cool slightly.
  • Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Serving

  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into slices. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Storage

  • Place any leftover brownies in an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
