Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Caramel and Topping

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips melted

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle with half of the chopped pecans.
  • Spread the remaining brownie batter over the caramel and pecans. Top with the remaining caramel sauce and pecans. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the top.

Serving

  • Cut the cooled brownies into slices and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful dessert.
